You've heard the expression, "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten." We hear it, we understand it, but do we actually make the changes necessary to avoid repeating the same ole' things?? This isn't just a statement, it requires action; participation. You must make a plan!!

1. Decide what changes need to be made. What is hurting or causing issues in your life?

2. Or, what is it that you want in your life but you are not pursuing right now?

3. Write down all the benefits you can think of if you removed or added these things?

4. List the decisions that need to be made or list of things you can do to start eliminating or adding what you want to your life.

5. Make a timeline, add steps to your calendar each week, or month.

Sometimes looking at the enormity of an entire project or major change can seem overwhelming. Start by writing about it, thinking about it, making a list of ways you can change it and then start with small steps that will over time, get you to what you want.

Keep the reason(s) why you want to make this change at the forefront of your mind to keep you motivated on days when it's hard to keep going! Be aware of your own excuses and push past them.

It's not about resolutions, it's about having a plan and committing yourself to accomplishing it.
