How to get more Sales without Selling!

Congratulations! You've started a new business!! You are so psyched right now because you just KNOW, everyone is going to want your new product/service!!

You've ordered your business cards, have your website up, maybe have a starter kit or some products. and are READY TO GO!!

Crickets!

What? Wait, what do you mean you have to think about it? You're my friend, why aren't you buying from me? It gets old fast right?

Now I know you aren't beating your friends & family up to buy from you but you totally thought they would right? You made a list of 100 people that you know because your up line told you to...and you posted on social media 2-3 times a day and still nothing..or maybe a few sales...but mostly nothing. What the hell is up with that?

People do not like to feel SOLD to. That's what's up!!

Stop selling your stuff!!

It may sound crazy but there is a better way! People will buy from you, but first you have to help them see the benefits another way. That's your 1st tip! I have 5 of them for you!

2nd Tip : You have to stop thinking this is going to be easy. Someone told you a lie if they said all you have to do is post on social media and you'll make money. I'm not saying people won't show interest and I'm not saying you won't make sales from posting, I'm just saying, you are not going to retire on kicking back 7 hours a day, throwing a few posts out there and getting rich. There are a lot of reasons for this which I explain in my Online Business Course. Some of this is obvious but some of it has to do with Facebook and other platforms limiting who sees your stuff. Ugh! I know right!

3rd, People buy from people they trust. There is so much noise and advertisements coming at us everyday, most people will delete and pass by the majority of them, except the ones that come from a reliable source. Your friends & family and referrals from friends & family will probably at least stop and take the time to look at your post or email. They'll buy from you once you're proven the value, the benefits, and that they can trust you!!

4th: You also have to remember the power of connecting with people in person. Please do not try to build a business from behind your computer and be upset when it fails. You have to hone your skills and stay in front of people. This helps you in so many ways and I promise it is still one of the best way to get referrals.

5th Tip is to remember that NO doesn't mean NO forever. It just means NO right now. Learn to not take this personally and remember people have all types of reasons why NOW isn't the right time but later might be. Keep your message in front of them, continue to build trust and demonstrate the value and eventually they may buy. If the product/service just isn't their thing, they may still refer you to someone they know just because they believe in you. Consider your own buying habits. I'm sure there are things you didn't purchase on the spot. You maybe went home to discuss it with your hubby/wife, you wanted to just check inventory at home to see if you really needed it, check the budget, etc.

No is not FOREVER. If anything, (here's a another tip) NO is a lesson for you! Use your "NO's," as an opportunity to sharpen what you're doing!
