Why you should not make resolutions.

The world resolution even has a bad feeling around it doesn't it? For years now, we've heard of all the people that make them and don't follow through with them...so now we just don't even like the word. I think we should change it to, "New Year Promises."

I think if we made a promise or promises to our self to improve x,y,z, we would do it. After all, you wouldn't let yourself down would you?

So let's just do that this year. Make a promise to yourself to improve one thing this year. Maybe you decide it's your health or your finances. Make a list of 5-10 things you can do this year to accomplish this promise. Maybe even share your ideas or at least the promise with your spouse or best friend. Then, add each one of the items to your calendar each month and work on just that item that month. How great would it be if you kept your promise to yourself and by the end of the year, you were that new person?!! Of course you could do this with multiple promises but that depends on you.

What promise will you make to yourself for this year?

If you want help deciding or committing, ask me about my FB Group called GOAL CRUSHERS 2017. This is a Free, Non- Judgmental Space for you to get accountability and support.

If you feel like you need more one on one support, please reach out and we'll talk about your next steps.

I want you to be confident, happy, and successful at designing YOUR best life!

To New Year Promises,

Donna Houghton
